In this interface role, you will optimize our ongoing production while driving the innovation of new products and processes.
Your Responsibilities
Production Engineering (Primary Focus):
- Process Optimization: Monitoring, analyzing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes in the field of extrusion
- Series Production Launch: Planning and executing mold/tooling approvals and supporting new tools through to series production readiness
- Root Cause Analysis: Systematic troubleshooting of production disruptions and implementation of corrective measures
- Parameter Management: Creating and maintaining setup sheets and process documentation
- Material Testing: Conducting test series with new materials, additives, or recyclates on production machinery
- Prototyping: Supporting the development of new components or profiles from initial feasibility studies to prototypes
- Process Development: Developing new manufacturing strategies to increase efficiency and sustainability
Your Profile
- Successfully completed degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in Plastics Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a qualification as a Technician with relevant professional experience
- In-depth know-how in processing thermoplastics or elastomers, specifically in extrusion and/or injection molding
- Experience in Design of Experiments (DoE) and knowledge of standard QM tools (e.g., FMEA)
- Analytical mindset, a hands-on mentality, and the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly
