In this dynamic and challenging role, you will shape and execute the global portfolio and product strategy for connectors and end closures, driven by market insights and customer needs. You will take ownership of product positioning, pricing, and profitability, while serving as a key link between the market, sales, production, procurement, and engineering teams.
Your Responsibilities
- Define the product-market strategy in close collaboration with the global sales organization and prioritize projects based on economic criteria
- Conduct market and competitive analyses regarding customer requirements, technology trends, and product portfolio to support market positioning and pricing decisions
- Develop product roadmaps aligned with corporate strategy and market demands
- Ensure an efficient product life cycle management process, from idea generation through design and market launch to phase-out
- Take responsibility for growth and profitability of the assigned product family
Your Profile
- Completed degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, business administration, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in product management
- In-depth product and market knowledge
- Independent working style, strong communication skills, and assertiveness
- Business-fluent German and English
- Proficient in using IT systems and key product management tools
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 10%)
