Help us shape the future of energy supply – take responsibility for the design, new development, and optimization of innovative cable accessories in the low-voltage range up to 1 kV, which you will implement together with your dedicated team of three.
Your Responsibilities
- Personnel and technical management of employees in the “R&D Low Voltage and Components” department
- Management of and collaboration in projects for the new development and optimization of cable accessories up to 1kV and components
- Creation of 3D designs and drawings derived from them, as well as design data for products and tools
- Creation and further development of design guidelines and product documentation
- Support in process definitions or process optimization
- Definition of test procedures for incoming goods inspections and production with regard to material-related issues
- Coordination and establishment of cooperation with external partners, laboratories, suppliers, research institutions, and universities
Your Profile
- Completed degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics (Dipl.-Ing. / Bachelor/ Master)
- Management experience and/or experience in a similar position is an advantage
- Expertise in CAD and 3D design (Creo – key user function) as well as knowledge and confident application of the relevant standards for testing and developing the specified materials and products/fittings
- Knowledge and experience in the field of plastic injection molding (tool knowledge, material knowledge)
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering
- Strong communication skills in German and English
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the country and abroad (10%)
