In this role, you will be responsible for the accounts payable accounting of BBC Cellpack GmbH and Behr Bircher Cellpack Deutschland GmbH. This exciting and varied position involves close, team-oriented collaboration.
Your Responsibilities
- Review, account assignment, and posting of incoming invoices
- Administration of the BLP incoming invoice portal (electronic processing of supplier invoices)
- Maintenance of vendor master data
- Review of VAT-relevant transactions, including import VAT
- Preparation and execution of the weekly payment run, including foreign currency invoices
- Preparation and posting of monthly closing entries
- Backup support for accounts receivable accounting, travel expense accounting, and the accounting of Group companies
Your Profile
- Commercial training; further qualification as a financial accountant is an advantage
- Initial professional experience in financial accounting or a comparable role; experience in an industrial company is a plus
- Strong numerical aptitude and solid mathematical and analytical skill
- Good knowledge of financial accounting principles
- Confident handling of SAP systems and proficiency in MS Office
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
